Tina Fiero

Tina Marie (Cole) Fiero, 56, a lifelong resident of the Sheffield area passed away on Monday afternoon July 31, 2023, at UPMC Hamot Hospital in Erie following a short illness.  She was born in Warren on January 15, 1967.  The daughter of Donald Lewis Cole and Gwenda (McCulla) Cole.  Tina was a 1985 graduate of Sheffield High School.  She was employed by the Sheffield Municipal Authority as secretary.

Tina was an outdoor lover.  She loved doing landscaping at her home with her husband, Jim.  She also loved taking spur of the moment road trips in her Jeep with him as well.  She loved her two kids more than life itself and would do anything for them.  She was always a happy person and loved to dance.  She loved her dogs Harley very much as well as Sequoia and Ava.  Tina was a mother to more than just her own kids.  Everyone called her Momma Fiero/Momma Tina.  She absolutely loved her job and seeing people she knew and didn’t know.  Her favorite thing was sitting around her firepit on the weekends enjoying a nice fire.  She loved the Hallmark Channel and loved to decorate for all holidays, especially Christmas. Her Christmas tree was very important to her. Tina’s smile and laugh would light up any room and you would enjoy her company the very first time you met her.  She was an incredible cook and baker. Her chocolate chip cookies were second to none.  She was deeply loved and will be missed dearly.

Left behind to cherish Tina’s memory are her best friend and husband, Jim Fiero of Sheffield, her son Kyle Fiero of Sheffield, her daughter Chantelle (Fiero) Coons and her husband Kyle Coons of Sheffield.  She is survived by her brother Donald Cole, Jr.(Amy) and Larry Cole; her nephews: Joshua Ace, Devin Cole and Kristopher Cole; her brother-in-law John Fiero and her beloved Sequoia, Harley and Ava.  She was preceded in death by her father Donald Lewis Cole. 

Tina’s family will welcome family and friends on Friday, August 4, 2023, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Borden Funeral Home of Sheffield.  Visitation will also be held from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 5, 2023, at the Sheffield United Methodist Church.  Funeral Services will follow at 12:00 noon with Pastor Ruth Ann Varrato from the Tiona Methodist Church presiding.  Interment with close friends and family will follow at the Cherry Grove Cemetery. To conclude, a celebration of life luncheon will follow at the Sheffield Fire Hall.
