Sandra Fahnders

Sandra Olson Fahnders, age 74, of Fredericksburg, VA passed away Saturday, August 5, 2023 at Berea Health & Rehab.  She was born on December 7, 1948 in Warren, PA the daughter of the late Russell C. and Betty Jane (Loomis) Olson. She worked in health care as a Certified Nursing Assistant.

Survivors include her son, Jeffrey R. Fahnders of Fredericksburg, VA; one sister, Sharon Westerlund (Richard) of Fredericksburg, VA; one niece, Betty Westerlund, two great nieces and two great nephews of Fredericksburg, VA.

While at Berea Health & Rehab, Sandra participated in many activities including weekly outings, bingo, and cooking classes. Sandra always had a smile on her face when visitors came to see her.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, August 9, 2023 from 6:00-8:00pm at Mullins & Thompson Funeral Service, 1621 Emancipation Highway, Fredericksburg.

Services will be held Saturday, August 12, 2023 at Borden Funeral Home, 203 W. Main St., Sheffield, PA at 12:00 noon with burial to follow in Sheffield Cemetery.  Pastor Ruth Ann Varrato will preside the service at noon at the funeral home. The family will receive friends from 10-12:00 prior to the service.
