Roberta Sampson

Roberta Louise (Bobbi) Sampson, 79, of Warren passed away peacefully on Wednesday afternoon November 3, 2021 at Kinzua Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center.  She was born September 11, 1942 in Warren, Pennsylvania, the daughter of Robert Paul Sampson and Martha Irene (Frampton) Sampson.   Bobbi was a 1960 graduate of Warren High School, and continued her education at the School of Business in Chicago, Illinois.  She held many secretarial positions for several vital companies which included Washington National Insurance Company in Chicago, Dickson Fanagram Mercury Records, as well as many law firms.  She was protestant by faith. 

Bobbi loved local history and could often be found looking into local artifacts.  She was an avid sports fan especially of the Chicago Bear Cubs.  For relaxation Bobbi would listen to country music.

Left behind to cherish Bobbi’s memory are her sister Mrs. Nancy Gorton of Clarendon, two nieces, Sharon Albaugh and Patti Wilson, three nephews: Timothy Gorton, Richard Gorton, and Robert Gorton, Jr.

She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers: William, Gail, and George Sampson as well as her longtime companion Raymond Milton Nehmzow.
