Robert Doyle

Robert Clair Doyle, 85, of Sheffield passed away peacefully early Thursday morning September 1, 2022, at the Warren Manor.  Bob was born on February 14, 1937, in Smithfield, West Virginia, the son of the late John Doyle and Bessie (Hought) Doyle.  Bob was employed for many years by the former McMillen Family Lumber Company in Sheffield.  He was a member of the Barnes United Methodist Church where he married his wife, Diane.  Bob enjoyed vegetable and flower gardening.

Left behind to cherish Bob’s memory are his son Robert E. (Robbie) Doyle of Sheffield.  He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Diane, his daughter, Robin Doyle, one brother and two sisters.

Friends of Robert Clair Doyle will be received on Sunday, September 4, 2022, from 2:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. at the Borden Funeral Home of Sheffield.  Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home with Reverend Douglas Brink, Pastor of Barnes United Methodist Church Presiding.  Burial will take place at the Sheffield Cemetery.  To leave an online condolence for Robert Clair Doyle, please visit www.bordenfuneralhome.com.
