Randy Melquist

Randy Melquist, 67, of Sheffield, PA, passed away peacefully after a brief illness on July 26, 2025.  He was born on June13, 1958, in Warren, PA to the late Bruce and Dorothy Melquist.  Randy graduated from Sheffield Area High School in 1976 and went on to serve his country in the United States Navy from 1976 to 1980.

Randy enjoyed spending his time with friends and family.  He was extremely talented and crafted beautiful art pieces, many of which were displayed in craft shows, at Main Street Artisans and at The Painted Finch Gallery. 

Randy is survived by his siblings; Terry Melquist (Colleen) of Sheffield, PA, Sherry Anderson (Steve) of Corry, PA, and Michael Melquist (Paula) of Youngsville, PA.  In addition to his siblings, he is survived by his nieces and nephews, Eric, Katie, Kelsie, Aaron and Mikayla.

Randy is preceded in death by his parents, Bruce and Dorothy Melquist and his niece Julie Melquist.

Randy will be laid to rest in the company of his close friends and family.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the Sheffield Volunteer Fire Department, 318 S. Main Street, Sheffield, PA 16347.
