Peter Mihalko

Peter  (Pete) Mihalko, 78, of Barnes, Sheffield Township passed away unexpectedly at his home on Thursday evening, October 21, 2021.  He was born in Portage, Pennsylvania on March 3, 1943.  The son of Peter Mihalko and Josephine (Rykala) Mihalko, Pete was a graduate of Portage High School and continued his education by going to trade school for elevator repair.  Pete retired from Schindler Elevator Company.  He was a true outdoorsman.  He enjoyed taking long walks through the woods.  His true passions were hunting and fishing and he would relax by reading a good book.  Pete was a member of the Sheffield Rod and Gun Club.  He was protestant by faith.

Left behind to cherish Pete’s memory are his wife Ann, at home as well as his Aunt Janet Weidner of Kane.

There will be no public calling hours or service.  Pete’s family has entrusted the Borden Funeral Home of Sheffield with the arrangements.
