Mary Anne Paris

Mary Anne Paris, a lifelong resident and Sheffield business owner passed away December 26, 2023, at her home.  She was born in Warren, PA on August 17, 1956, the daughter of William (Buzz) Paris and Martha (Hoden) Paris.  Mary Anne was a graduate of Sheffield High School.  She continued her education by earning a BA in Political Science and attended Dickenson Law School.  She was a lifelong member of St. Michael’s Byzantine Catholic Church in Sheffield.  She was the owner operator of Presents & Posies in Sheffield for over 32 years.  She was taught the meaning of hard work at a young age.  Mary Anne was a pillar of the Sheffield Community and will be greatly missed. 

Left behind to cherish Mary Anne’s memory are Jim (Simo) Simonsen of Sheffield, her brothers William (Buddy) Paris (Trish) of Warren, Scott (Holly) Paris of Sheffield and her sister Veronica English (Paul) of Kane.  She is further survived by several nieces and nephews as well as many dear close friends.  She was preceded in death by her parents.  Mary Anne’s family will welcome family and friends on Friday, January 5, 2024, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Borden Funeral Home in Sheffield, PA.  A Funeral of Divine Liturgy will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 6, 2024, at St. Michael’s Byzantine Catholic Church on School Street in Sheffield, PA with Father David Bosnich as Celebrant.  (Everyone, please gather at the church).
