Lori Noel Brusso

Lori Noel Brusso, 65, of Sheffield, Pennsylvania, passed away at Warren General Hospital onThursday,  November 11, 2021 from complications due to COVID19.  She was a lifelong resident of the Sheffield community.  She was born the daughter of Karlton and Eleanor (Ryen) Peterson on May 4, 1956.  Lori was a 1974 graduate of Sheffield High School and continued her education at Indiana University of Pennsylvania.  She obtained an Associate’s Degree in Psychology.  She was Protestant by faith and attended Sheffield United Methodist Church.  She had been a member of the Sheffield Women’s Club.  Lori worked at Blair, spending over 25 years in the Customer Service Department.  Lori was a kind person with a generous heart and always took time for others.

Left behind to cherish Lori’s memory are her mother, Eleanor Peterson, formerly of Sheffield, one brother, Jeffrey Peterson and his wife Carol of Sheffield, two grandchildren, Ireland Brusso and Ellie Mohney.  She is further survived by her nephews, Kyle Wees and his wife Kensie and Tyler Wees and his wife Miranda.  She is also survived by a great niece Zoey Tompsett and a great nephew Zayden Wees.  She was preceded in death by both her maternal and paternal grandparents, her father, Karlton Peterson, a son Casey Brusso in 2008 as well as her companion Bill Wingert.

Lori’s family will welcome family and friends on Tuesday, November 16, 2021 at the Borden Funeral Home of Sheffield from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.  Funeral services will take place at the Funeral Home at 5:00 p.m. with Reverend Douglas Brink, Pastor of Sheffield United Methodist Church officiating.  Private burial will take place at the Sheffield Cemetery.
