Loretta Ann Davidson

Loretta Ann Davidson, 64, of Kane PA, passed away unexpectedly Sunday morning, June 20, 2021 at the Lutheran Home of Kane after a brief illness.  She was born on July 10, 1956 in McKeesport PA, a daughter of Norman Castor and Alverta (Wilhelm) Castor.  Loretta was a 1974 graduate of Sheffield High School. She continued her education by becoming a licensed practical nurse and spent many years caring for those in nursing home facilities.  Loretta spent the last 15 years of her career working for the Lutheran Home of Kane.  She held a special place in her heart for her patients.  Loretta was an animal lover.  She often could be found in her yard attending to her flower gardens and would also relax by enjoying a cooking show with Gordon Ramsey.  In previous years, Loretta enjoyed working with ceramics.

Left behind to cherish Loretta’s memory are her husband of 47 years, Jack (Harley) Davidson at home, one son, John Davidson of Kane, two daughters, Jillian Davidson and Alaina Davidson also of Kane.  She is further survived by one sister Noreen Griffith and husband Dan of Sheffield.  Lastly, she is survived by three grandchildren, Dominik, Gabby, Noel.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother John Castor, and a sister Anita Frederoski who passed away on May 26, 2021.

In keeping with Loretta’s wishes there will be no visitation or services.  Her family has entrusted the Borden Funeral Home of Sheffield with all of the arrangements.
