Loleta Lawson Obituary

Loleta L. Lawson, 81 of Warren, passed away Tuesday, December 8, 2020 at the Warren Manor.  She was born July 28, 1939 in Warren to Edward C. Steber and Alice M. (Church) Steber.  Loleta was a graduate of Warren Area High School.  She went on to work and retired from Slyvania.  She was a member of the Women’s  Moose Club of Warren.  She loved the outdoors, camping, hiking and fishing.  She held a special place in her heart for her faithful friend and companion, her dog Mandy.  Loleta was Protestant by faith.  Left behind to cherish Loletas memory are daughter Tammy Bobenrieth of St. Marys, a son George L. Lawson Jr. and his wife Amy of Warren, one brother Duane Ora Steber and his wife Jean of Warren.  Three grand-children,  Casey L. Blessel,   Matthew J.  Lawson  and Rusty L. Lawson.  Three great –grand-children, Kaylynn J. Lawson,  Adden J. Brunner and Parker W. Brunner.  In addition to her mother and father she was preceded in death by two brothers, Edward Steber and Richard Steber.  Three sisters,  Betty Bush, Evelyn Dean and Donna Rossman. She was further preceded in death by her friend and long time companion Jan Priest. Private family services will be held on Friday December 11, 2020 at the Borden Funeral Home of Sheffield.  Reverend Douglas Brink will officiate,  burial will take place at the Oakland Cemetery in Warren.  Memorial donations may be made to Paws along the River at 212 Elm St. Warren, PA. 16365.  To leave an online condolence for Loleta L.
