Lavina Mae Lundberg, 78 of Warren passed away peacefully Monday morning, October 31, 2022, with her loving daughter and granddaughter by her side at Warren General Hospital. Mae was born on August 15, 1944, in Warren to Roy and Margaret (Beane) Walton. Mae was educated in the Marienville Area School District. Mae was a Christian and she loved going for rides with her daughter and granddaughter. She also enjoyed playing bingo and doing crossword puzzles. Mae held a special place in her family’s heart and they in her heart, even through the health challenges that she faced. She kept on persevering.
Left behind to cherish Mae’s memory are her daughter, Tracy Eckman; her granddaughter Joye Eckman her grandson Jeff (Dana) Walton; her great grandchildren Kaelin and Lincoln Walton. She is further survived by her sister-in-law Stella Walton. Mae was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Willy; two brothers: Butch Walton, Sr. and Rick Walton, Sr., as well as a nephew Wayne Walton, Jr. and a son-in-law Bill Eckman.
Private family services will be held on Friday, November 4, 2022, at the Borden Funeral Home of Sheffield. Pastor Ruth Ann Varrato will officiate. Burial will follow at the Warren County Memorial Park. A public memorial service will be announced at a later date. The family respectfully asks that memorial donations be made to the Borden Funeral Home, P.O. Box #4, Sheffield, PA 16347 to help defray the funeral expenses.
