Larry Edward Copley 82 of Austin Hill Road Sheffield passed away Saturday morning May 02, 2020 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born Nov 17, 1937 In Oil City, PA to John (Red) Copley and Julia Geraldine Stevenson Copley. Larry was a graduate of Sheffield High School. After graduation he served the United States Marine Corps. He married the love of his life Rebecca Zandi on Nov 22, 1957 in Oil City, Pa . Larry was Methodist by faith. He retired as a corrections officer from the Warren State Hospital. In Larry’s spare time he enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was an outdoors man who took great pride in his yard, and could often be referred to as being meticulous. Above else Larry had a very strong work ethic, in which was passed on to his 3 sons. Left behind to cherish Larry’s memory are his wife at home. His son’s ; Richard (Scott) Copley and his wife Kimberly of Sheffield, Robin (Lee) Copley and his significant other Paula Platko, and Corey (B) Copley and his wife Tara of Sheffield. Also surviving are 8 grandchildren and 6 great grand children. He was preceded in death by his parents. There will be no calling hrs or service. Burial will be private.
