Kenneth E. Lester, Jr.

Kenneth E. Lester, Jr., 89 of Hemlock Road in Warren, PA, passed away early Sunday morning, February 16, 2025, at his home.  He was born on January 22, 1936, in Warren, the son of the late Kenneth Lester, Sr. and Geniveve (Chapel) Lester.  Mr. Lester was a mechanic and auto body technician by trade.

He married the love of his life Marilyn (Cochran) Lester on June 8, 1955, at the Methodist Church in Frewsburg, New York.  They spent nearly 70 years as a couple.  Together they raised four children.  Mr. & Mrs. Lester provided a warm, safe and loving environment for them.  Kenneth was a quiet, humble man, who had a heart of gold and would help anyone at any time.  He will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by everyone who had the privilege of knowing and loving him, especially his loving family. 

Left behind to cherish Kenneth’s memory are his loving wife, Marilyn Lester at home, his two daughters, Lori Lester and companion (James Jordan) and Julie (Rick) Colander, both of Warren and a son, Kenneth (Trudy) Lester of Florida.  He is further survived by eleven grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, Donald Lester, as well as two brothers, Dave and Dean Lester. 

There will be no public calling hours or services observed.  Private family service will be held on Thursday, February 20, 2025, at the Borden Funeral Home, 203 West Main Street in Sheffield, PA, Pastor Ruth Ann Varotto, presiding.  Burial will be private.  Mr. Lester’s family respectfully request that memorial donations be made to Paws Along the River, 212 Elm Street, Warren, PA 16365.  To leave an online condolence for Kenneth E.
