Katrina Stringer

Katrina Lynell Stringer, 41 of Warren passed away on Friday, May 24, 2024, at UPMC Hamot Hospital in Erie, PA after a brief illness.  She was born on October 15, 1982, in Virginia Beach, Virginia, the daughter of the late Bud and Nancy Whedbee.  She was a graduate of Maury High School and continued her education by graduating from Fortis College as a medical assistant.  She was formerly employed as a medical assistant at Help at Home.  Halloween was Katrina’s favorite holiday, and she loved the color purple.  She was an animal lover, especially horses and baby goats.  She was a selfless person with a heart of gold.  She will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by everyone who had the privilege of knowing and loving her.

Left behind to cherish Katrina’s memory are her fiancé Jeffrey Underwood of Warren, her son Tristian (TJ) Collins of Alabama, her daughters: Serenity York and Raven Stringer, both of Warren; two brothers: Richard Mirto of Virginia Beach and Anthony Rosa of Arkansas; her sisters, Lynda Whedbee of Norfolk, Dawn Biermann (John Bowers) of Norfolk, Riana Brown of Warren, and Krystal Martin of Warren.  She is further survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and many friends.  She was preceded in death by her parents, a son: Jeffrey Underwood, Jr. as well as a sister Sherry Collins.

Katrina’s family will welcome family and friends on Tuesday, May 28, 2024, from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Borden Funeral Home of Sheffield.  Funeral Services to follow with Pastor Ruth Ann Varrato presiding.  Burial will be private.  Katrina’s family respectfully requests that memorial donations be made to the Borden Funeral Home, P.O.
