Jody Blankenship

Jody Joyce Blankenship, 67, of Sheffield, PA passed away on Tuesday, August 13, 2024, at UPMC Hamot Hospital in Erie, PA.  She was born in Warren, PA on May 9, 1957, the daughter of the late Franklin Prine and Joyce (Reynolds) Prine.  She was protestant by faith.  She was a loving mother and grandmother who looked forward to the time she got to spend with her family.  She enjoyed gardening and cooking, loved to dance and music and being outside on a sunny day.  Jody was a very tidy person.  Everywhere she might go, she would be cleaning and picking up after others.

Left behind to cherish Jody’s memory are her daughter Chastity Prine of Sheffield and her son Ryan Blankenship of Sheffield; her grandchildren: Raina Pratz, Zarah Pratz-Saporito, Isiss Pratz, Zedakiah Pratz, Tess Lord, Razzlin Pratz, as well as one great grandchild, Daelia Saporito and a sibling Frankie Thomas.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Robin Knupp and Debbie Jeffcoat.

Private family visitation and services were held on Sunday August 18, 2024, at the Borden Funeral Home in Sheffield, PA.  Pastor Ruth Ann Varrato presided.  Burial will be private.
