Jack S. Spencer, 76, of Sheffield, Pa, passed away Tuesday morning, November 4, 2025, at Kinzua Health and Rehabilitation Center in Warren, Pa after a period of declining health. He was born in Linch, Pa on May 11, 1949, the son of the late Adam Spencer and Grace (Ewings) Spencer. He was educated in the Marienville School District.
Jack was gainfully employed for many years at the former McMillen Family Lumber Company in Sheffield, PA. Jack loved the outdoors, hunting and fishing. He loved the company of his family.
Left behind to cherish Jack’s memory are his sisters, Sue Jensen of Warren, PA, Jane Harriger, of Clarendon, PA, Kathy Shaffer, of Sheffield, PA, and Marge (Lee) Lewis, of Brookstone, PA. He is further survived by many nieces and nephews.
Jack is preceded by June Miller of Sheffield, Dick Spencer of Truemans, Mary Grubbs of Sheffield, Jim Spencer of Sheffield, and Bob Spencer of Sheffield.
Jack’s family will welcome friends on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, from 5 pm to 6 pm at the Borden Funeral Home, 203 W. Main Street, in Sheffield. Services will follow at 6 pm, with Pastor Ruth Ann Varotto, presiding. Burial will take place at the Barnes Cemetery.
