George Michael Servesko, 79, a lifelong resident of Sheffield passed away early Tuesday morning, June 29th, 2021 at his home. He was born on August 14, 1941 in Kane, Pennsylvania, the son of the late George Servesko and Helen (Vertilla) Servesko. He graduated from Sheffield High School’s Class of 1959. George went on to serve his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam conflict. He earned the rank of Captain. His true passion was the time in which he served his country. He laid many of his comrades to rest during VFW Funeral Detail. George was Catholic by faith.
He was the owner-operator of Servesko TV and Satellite of Sheffield for 38 years.
Left behind to cherish George’s memory are his wife, Sherry Servesko, whom he married on December 8, 2004 in Sheffield, a daughter, Lisa (Jeffery) Dinger and their son, Braden Steffey, a son, Dr. Jeffery (Shannon) Servesko and their children Cameron & Mariella and a brother, William (the late Lucille) Servesko. He is further survived by his step children Kimberley (Scott) Copley, Vicki (Jamie) Pack, Tammy (Jere) Friedt, Misty Uber (Daniel), eight step grand children and six step great grand children.
Private family services will be held at a later date at the Borden Funeral Home of Sheffield.
