Ellen Peroski

Ellen M. Peroski, 75, a lifelong resident of Sheffield, PA passed away Saturday morning November 11, 2023, at Lakeview Health Care and Rehabilitation Center in Smethport, PA.  She was born in Sheffield, PA on December 6, 1947, the daughter of Howard W. McClellan and Betty (Budila) McClellan.  She was a 1966 graduate of Sheffield High School.  Ellen gained employment at the former McMillen family lumber company in Sheffield, PA.  She was a devoted faithful lifelong member of the St. Michael’s Byzantine Catholic Church in Sheffield where she attended mass daily when able.  Ellen Loved life.  She gave generously to those less fortunate.  She was an outgoing person whose faith, family and friends were of the utmost importance to her.  She will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by her husband, son, and the people of the Sheffield community.

Left behind to cherish Ellen’s memory are her husband Andrew Peroski of Sheffield and her son, John H. Peroski of Sheffield.  Ellen’s family will welcome friends on Tuesday, November 14, 2023, from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at the St. Michael’s Byzantine Catholic Church on School St. in Sheffield where a Funeral of Divine Liturgy will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. with Father David Bosnich as Celebrant.  Burial will take place at St. Michael’s Cemetery in Sheffield.
