Ellen Fedorchik Obituary

Ellen Marie Fedorchik, born November 2nd, 1961, has peacefully passed away in her own home surrounded by loved ones on Wednesday,  November 20th, 2024. She  born in Queens, NY, but spent most of her life in Bethlehem, PA. Later in life she moved to Sheffield, PA. Her mother and source of strength was Jeanette Nichol. She graduated Freedom High School and down the line got her bachelor's degree majoring in Psychology and minoring in Criminal Justice at Desales University. Her legacy lives on through 1 daughter (Samantha Fedorchik), sister (Debra Snow), brothers (Robert Klima and Chuck Klima), and three cats (Jewel, Tia, and Juno). She will be joining her husband (Dale Fedorchik) and mother (Jeanette Nichol).

Ellen's main love was the beach. More specifically Montauk, NY. She loved to collect seashells and sea glass for hours with her family and friends. Ellen was also very creative and took interest in creating things with the sea glass and shells she would find, ceramics, diamond dots, and had even taught herself to draw. Ellen also loved music of all kinds but found herself most at peace listening to Jimmy Buffet. She was fortunate enough to go to many concerts with her family. She enjoyed the little things in life from rummikube, Nintendo 64, soaking up sunshine, cuddling with her cats, exploring nature with her friends, and even just watching her favorite shows on repeat with her daughter. Ellen was also a very determined (as well as stubborn) person that whatever she set to her mind to, she would make it happen.

Ellen will be missed by all whose lives she has touched and shed her light upon. Ellen was always first to jump in and help anyone in need. When she loved people in her life, she loved them with her whole heart. The same love she showed for her two-legged loved ones is also the same she showed to four- legged loved ones. Any chance she had to help an animal in need brought her a joy that kept her heart burning bright. Whether she was doing goofy little dances to songs, making funny faces, making a hot meal, or sharing advice she made sure people around her were always smiling. Ellen believed that life is too short to live with regrets and that no pain or hurt is worth holding onto.

An all-welcomed event will be held at Stanley's in Allentown, PA when the family is ready to reach out with details.

In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to your favorite non profit animal shelter in her name.
