Sherman Richard “Dick” McKown, 79, a lifelong resident of Sheffield passed away at home unexpectedly Friday evening, March 10, 2023.  He was born on January 24, 1944, the son of Sherman Elwood McKown & Ardith T. Left behind to cherish Dick’s memory are his children: Sherman (Craig) McKown, Scott McKown, Richard McKown, Jodi McKown Lander and  husband Daniel, and Michael McKown and wife Krista; his grandchildren: Amber McKown Thomas and husband Michael, Sherman (Kris) McKown, Evan McKown, Mattea McKown, Caleb McKown, Connor McKown and wife Rachel, Hayley McKown, Alexis McKown , Madison McKown and Savannah McKown; great grandchildren: Michael Thomas, Kalyssa Thomas, Jayden McKown, Paisley McKown, Sherman Joseph McKown and Eileene Butler.
