Constance L. (Connie) Pittock, 78, of Barnes passed away Sunday evening April 11, 2021, with her family by her side at UPMC Magee Womans’ Hospital in Pittsburgh. She was born on April 20, 1942 in Seattle, WA the daughter of the late John Swearingen and Arilda Foster Swearingen. Connie graduated from Irrigon High school as well as from secretarial School. She was employed by the U.S. Forest Service holding several duty stations including the Allegheny National Forest in Pennsylvania, the Mt. Hood National Forest in Oregon, and served as a realty specialist at all locations. She was a member of the Eagles Club in Hermiston, Oregon. She thorougly loved the outdoors, nature and enjoyed feeding the animals. She had a huge heart especially for rescuing dogs and cats that needed care and love. She spent her retirement in her Barnes home where she raised her family. She was a generous and loving mother and grandmother. She enjoyed helping people and guiding people through the challenges of life.
Left behind to cherish Connie’s memory are her daughter Patricia Pittock of Phoenixville, PA. She is also survived by her son Destry Pittock and his wife Davita of Barnes and two grand children Kaitlyn Pittock and Sierra Pittock of Barnes and Austin Foster of Warren, PA. She is further survived by her best friend and companion Molly her dog. She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister Geraldine Swearingen.
