Chauncey E Hall 61 of Tiona passed away Wednesday morning April 3rd at his home after a lengthy illness. Born on July 1st 1957 in Newton New Jersey he was the son of the late Chauncey E. Hathaway and Dorothy Hendershot Hathaway. After completion of school he served his country in the United States Army. For many years he was a self employed truck driver. He attended the Kusheque union church. Chauncey was a member of the VFW of Ludlow, as well as a former member and past fire chief of the Ludlow vol fire dept. Prior to that he was a member of the lower Mt. Bethel vol fire dept. Where he held the position of safety officer. In his spare time he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and was a avid wrestling fan. He is survived by his fiancée Barbara Vancamp at home one son Angelo Hall -Bradford, two daughters Kayla Smith –Tiona & Tina Swanson – Ludlow. Three grandchildren Soren - Ludlow, Selena – Ludlow, & Teddy – Bradford. Two brothers Roy Hathway - New Jersey, Charles E Hall - Florida. Two sisters Charlotte Martinez – Florida, & Dottie Knibbs – Pennsylvania. Two Step sisters Cindy Hendershot – New Jersey, & Freda Saffer – Florida. Three step brothers Donald Edwards – Pennsylvania, & Gene Edwards – Florida. Also by many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his step brother Keith Edwards. There will be no calling hours a celebration of life service will held on Saturday April 20, 2019 at 3pm at the Ludlow vol fire dept with Rev. Bob Lynch officiating. A benefit dinner will be held following the service to help defray Funeral expenses or if desired the family is asking that donations be sent to the Borden Funeral Home of Sheffield.
