Obituary

Thomas W. Jones, Jr., 73 of Kane, PA passed away Friday evening March 26, 2021 at the Kinzua Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Warren.  He was born on April 25, 1947 in Ridgway the son of the late Thomas W. Jones Sr., and Barbara (Klinger) Jones.  After attending school, he went on to serve his country in the United States Army.  Tom was an outdoorsman and greatly enjoyed hunting and fishing as well as pitching horseshoes.  He thoroughly enjoyed bowling.  Above all else, Tom's greatest love was his family.  His grandchildren brought him great joy.

Left behind to cherish Tom's memory are his wife Grace (Power) Jones at home, two sons, Edward Power and Christopher Jones both of Kane and one daughter, Amber Woods of Kane.  He is further survived by three grandchildren, Landon and MacKenzie Woods and Shaye Roberts.  He is also survived by additional children and many aunts, uncles and cousins.  Tom also leaves behind his faithful dogs Scooter and Liberty.  Tom was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Wayne Jones and sister Barbara Jones.

Tom's family will welcome family and friends on Tuesday, March 30, 2021, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Borden Funeral Home of Sheffield.  Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Reverend Douglas Brink, Pastor of the Sheffield United Methodist Church officiating.  Committal with full military honors and burial will take place at the Barnes Cemetery.
