Rudolph C. Meighan, 68, of Warren, passed away Monday, September 6, 2021 at AHN St. Vincent Hospital in Erie.  He was born on August 21, 1953 in Greensburg, Pennsylvania the son of Rudolph Rothrauff and Eda Henry Rothrauff.  After graduation he served his country in the United States Marine Corp.

Rudolph had strong beliefs on a strict education and was catholic by faith.  He truly enjoyed the outdoors and loved fishing but Rudolph's true passion was the Pittsburgh Steelers.  He was a die hard fan whether rooting them on at home on TV or by going to Heinz Field to watch the black & gold team in person.  He was a member of the Warren American Legion Post.

Left behind to cherish Rudolph's memory are his mother Eda Henry and his children Rudolph Meighan III, Joshua Meighan, Casey Meighan, Scott Meighan, Ruth Meighan, Kaleena Meighan and Courtney Meighan.  He has sixteen grandchildren and six great grandchildren.  Left behind also are his siblings Jodi Rothrauff Arnold, Tracy Rothrauff Krajewski, Rhonda Rothrauff Krolicki, Deborah Swinger and Terry Rothrauff.    He was preceded in death by his father Rudolph Rothhrauff, his sisters Ruth Meighan and Sandy Meighan and his brother Stephen Rothrauff.

Rudolph's family will welcome family and friends on Friday, September 10 at the Borden Funeral Home of Sheffield, Pennsylvania from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.  A Blessing Service will be held at 3:00 p.m. with Father Stephen Schreiber.  Military honors will be accorded by the Sheffield, Clarendon and Warren VFW
