Nancy C. Dunn, 85, formerly of Sheffield passed away peacefully early Wednesday morning, May 15, 2024 at the Lutheran Home in Kane.  She was born on December 22, 1938, in Warren, PA, the daughter of the late Burdette Mesler and Elma (Steinburg) Mesler.  Nancy attended Warren High School.  She was protestant by faith.  She loved to dance and enjoyed listening to country music.  Her favorite TV Shows were Walker, Texas Ranger and Blue Bloods.

Left behind to cherish Nancy's memory are her sons Thomas Dunn (Barb) of Bear Lake and Larry Dunn (Betty) of Clarendon, and a daughter, Karen Williams (Scott Schooner) of Wright, Wyoming.  She is also survived by twelve grandchildren and eight great grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews.  She is further survived by her faithful friend, her cat Lucy.  In addition to her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by her husband Thomas Dunn, a brother, Lawrence (Bud) Mesler and two sisters: Leona Washburn and Betty Studer.

Nancy's family will welcome family and friends on Saturday, May 18, 2024, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Borden Funeral Home in Sheffield.  Services will follow at 4:00 p.m. with Pastor Ruth Ann Varrato presiding.  The burial will take place privately.
