Louis L. Lunar, 72, of Warren passed away unexpectedly on October 20, 2022, at his home in Warren.  He was born on December 2, 1949, in Cleveland, Ohio, the son of Joseph Lunar and Florence G. (Traphagen) Lunar.  He attended Shaw High School and Cuyahoga Community College.  Louis served his country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam war.  He was actively involved in the Boy Scouts of America for over 30 years.  Some of Louis's interests included playing online gaming, collecting sports cards, bowling and he was an avid fan of any kind of sports.

Left behind to cherish Louis's memory are his wife Virginia L. (Kerr) Lunar; his children: Kristina F. Staedt, Joshua D. Staedt, Shirley L. Walsh, Andrew L. Kerr, Mandy L. Hull, Cheyenne S. Dishon, and Dakoka D. Dishon; his grandchildren: Eloise V. G. Staedt, Saige W. Griffin, Jersey R. Rodgers, and Whisper A. Rodgers.  He is further survived by his siblings: Joseph Lunar, Jr., Kenneth Lunar, Dale Lunar, Edna Korb, and AnnaLisa L. Larkin as well as his faithful companions:  Abbigail, Squirt, and his service dog ABBA.  He was preceded in death by his mother, Florence G. Lunar, and his father, Joseph E. Lunar, also his mother-in-law, Loretta Lee Ditmer, and his sister-in-law, Laurie Ann Kerr.
