Kathryn L. (Kathy) Fiscus

Kathryn L. (Kathy) Fiscus, 81, of Barnes, Sheffield Twp. Passed away Friday morning May 7, 2021 at the Lutheran Home at Kane. Kathy was born in Kane on May 6, 1940 the daughter of the late John Hayduk and Marian (Ward) Hayduk. She graduated from Kane high school and furthered her education at JCC School of Nursing and graduated as a registered nurse. During Kathy's career she worked at several nursing facilities within Warren County. Kathy served the Sheffield community as an EMT for the Sheffield Ambulance Service for more than 15 years; she faithfully cared for those in need. She was Methodist by faith. She truly enjoyed being outdoors and was an avid animal lover, especially for her cats. For relaxation Kathy enjoyed attending Bingo most often at Sheffield Vol. Fire Dept. Kathy will be missed by all those who had the privilege of knowing and loving her especially of the Sheffield community.

Left behind to cherish Kathy's memory are her sons- Randy Ishman and Raymond Ishman both of Sheffield; Chris Ishman and wife  Rachelle of Texas; her sisters- Marg Duchi, Audrey Marshall, & Pearl Taylor; brother- Larry Hayduk; grandson- Eric Ishman. She was preceded in death by her parents; son- Dennis  Ishman; brothers-  Ron, Curtis, Gene, Robert, Joseph Hayduk; sisters- Verna Launer & Dorothy Hayduk.

Kathy's family will welcome family and friends on Tuesday May 11, 2021 from 12 PM – 2PM at the Borden Funeral Home of Sheffield. Funeral services will be held at 2 PM at the Funeral Home with Patricia Bartholomew Certified Lay Servant officiating. Burial will take place at the Barnes Cemetery.
