Juliann Katheryn Hulings, 94, a lifelong resident of Clarendon, PA passed away at her home on Monday, October 25, 2021 with her daughter by her side. She was born in Johnsonburg, Pennsylvania on February 15, 1927, the daughter of the late Stephen Mishenko and Anna Mishenko. Mrs. Hulings attended Catholic School and was a graduate of Johnsonburg High School.
She was a former member of St. Clara's Roman Catholic Church in Clarendon. Juliann was an avid seamstress. She enjoyed gardening and she would relax by reading a good real life novel. She greatly enjoyed going to the casino. She thoroughly loved cooking and baking especially for her family and friends. Juliann was a wonderful mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing and loving her.
Left behind to cherish Juliann's memory are her son Eugene Alan Hulings of Spokane, Washinton, her daughters Rosanne Houser and husband Mark of Clarendon, Susan Carol Heliker and husband Ray of Grand Valley, PA, two sisters, Delores Padasak of St. Mary's, PA and Marie Biel of Johnsonburg, PA, five grandchildren Hunter Houser (Jada), Lori Ann Pezzuto (Jeff), Diana Thompson (Robert), Michelle Grein, and Patricia Depto. She is further survived by eleven great grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Willis Eugene Hulings, on October 25, 2006, a daughter, Linda Ann Depto in May of 2006 and a sister Margaret Mishenko, and brother Steven Mishenko.
Mrs. Hulings' family will welcome family and friends on Friday, October 29, 2021 at the Borden Funeral Home of Sheffield from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A blessing service will take place following the afternoon visitation at 4:00 p.m. with Father Stephen Schreiber of Saint Anthony's Roman Catholic Church.
If desired, memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association or to the American Heart Association.
