Obituary

With profound sadness, we announce that Chad Nudd, age 55, was called home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, June 23, 2026. Born on August 6, 1970, in Ogden, Utah, to Edward Nudd and Doreen (Otter) Nudd, Chad spent his early years perfecting the art of marching to the beat of his own drum—a drum he liked to play loudly and, at times, slightly offbeat. This may have been due, in part, to drums being one instrument he was never able to master. In addition to enjoying playing and listening to music, Chad enjoyed cars, motorcycles, working with his hands (as long as the medium was not wood), cooking, and spending time with his family and pets. Chad was many things, but the title he wore with the most pride was that of father and, later, grandfather. His sense of humor, colorful way with language, perseverance, intelligence, and unwavering commitment to being unapologetically himself will never be forgotten by those who had the privilege of knowing him. It is undeniable that the world is a little quieter without him. Chad was preceded in death by his father, Ed, and his sister, Christina. He is survived by his mother, Doreen; his brothers, Kurt and Richard; his children, Draven and Nolan, and their mother, Kira Nudd; his children, ShayLynn, Ezekiel, and Aelyas, and their mother, Michelle Sarver; his stepchildren, Aiden and Jaxon Anthony; his wife, Jessica; his grandchildren, Guenivere, Zaphyre, Zephraysia, and Rowan; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and extended family members.

Chad’s family will welcome friends on Monday, June 29, 2026, from 2 pm to 4 pm and from 6 pm to 8 pm at the Borden Funeral Home, 203 West Main Street, Sheffield, PA. Prayers will be offered by Father William O’ Brian.
