Benjamin Lee
Sears
August 18, 1973 – June 13, 2026
We are deeply saddened to announce that Benjamin Lee Sears, Sr., 52, of Sheffield, PA, passed away on June 13, 2026, at home surrounded by loved ones, after a very aggressive battle with cancer. He was born August 18, 1973, at Warren General Hospital to the late Linda Sears Pineda. He was a 1996 graduate of the Warren Higher Education Council and from there he went on the graduate from CDL school in 2002 in North Carolina, where he graduated second in his class. Ben truly exceeded at everything he did.
Ben married his high school sweetheart and love of his life Misty Colvin Sears. He was employed by AMP Petroleum, where he took great pride in his work and loved driving for the company. Ben could truly brighten any room with his smile and would help anyway he could. He was deeply grateful to all who took part in the benefit for him. He loved getting together with family and friends, playing cards, chatting with friends, having cookouts, but most of all spending time with his beloved children, who were his pride and joy. He had an uncanny ability to reach people in a deep and positive way. He became a member of the Bill W Fellowship 28 years ago and loved all the people there, many becoming like family. Ben will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered by all who had the privilege to know and love him.
Left behind to cherish his memory, are his wife Misty Sears, Sheffield, their four beautiful children, Benjamin Sears, II, Ceara Sears (Seth Kraemer), Cyrus Sears and Savannah Sears, his granddaughter Carly Sears, Dallas, TX, grandson Oliver Kraeme, his father Luis Pineda, TX, two brothers, Luis Pineda, Jr. (Courtney Jameson) and Adam Pineda, both of TX.
A celebration of life service will be held by the family on Saturday, August 8, 2026, at the Warren Country Shrine Club, 56 Dutchman Road, Clarendon, PA 16313. Service will start at 11:00 am with a luncheon to follow.
