Avella Lee Lubold, 80, of Sheffield, PA passed away June 24, 2022.  The daughter of Elizabeth (Peterson) Ingram and Virgil Josephus Ingram, she attended Little Cypress High School in Orange, Texas.  She met the love of her life Gordon Neil Lubold of Sheffield, PA while he was serving in the US Navy in Galveston, TX.  They married in July 7, 1961.  Avella moved to Sheffield while Gordon continued to serve in Galveston for another year.  Avella was employed by Warren National Bank/PNC Bank/Northwest for twenty plus years.  She was actively involved with the Garden Club, Women's Club, Bethany Lutheran Church as Church Treasurer, Eucharistic Minister and member of Board of Director's at Lutheran Home in Kane, PA.  She was also involved with Sheffield Thrift Store/Food Bank as a board member and the Red Bucket Collection and also served on the Sheffield Library Board.  Avella was adored by her nieces and nephews: Elizabeth, Beverly, Ginger, Jeff and Joel Ingram.  She loved raising houseplants, reading, visiting on her front porch and especially spoiling her grandchildren.

Left behind to cherish Avella's memory are her two sons, Paul Leroy Lubold and Timothy Alan Lubold and her grandchildren, Paige, Fiona and Nate.  Avella was preceded in death by her husband Gordon Neil Lubold.

A simple interment ceremony of her ashes will be held at the Sheffield Cemetery on Friday, May 12 at 1:00 p.m.  Avella's family invites attendees to a luncheon at Lawson's West End, 1413 Pennsylvania Ave., West in Warren, PA following the interment.
