Obituary

Ann Marie Cochran, 74, a long time Sheffield resident, passed away peacefully in her home on Monday morning July 7, 2025, with her loving husband by her side.  Ann was born in Warren, PA, on October 21, 1950, to Harold Quist and Helen (Lissik) Quist.  Ann was a 1969 graduate of Sheffield High School.  She married Terry J. Cochran on August 4,1973 in Tidioute, PA.

Ann was a member of the Bethany Evangelical Lutheran Church in Sheffield.  She retired from Osram Sylvania in Warren, Pa after 31 years of service.  Ann enjoyed relaxing by reading and quiet time alone.  She thoroughly enjoyed going for rides with Terry on their motorcycle.  She looked forward to their trips to Florida.  Especially at Easter time when she, Terry, and many others were able to witness the outdoor baptism service from Lady of Our Lord Church in Daytona Beach.

Ann will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by her husband, sisters, her many friends and the Sheffield community.

Left behind to cherish Ann's memory are her husband Terry J. Cochran at home, her two sisters, Nancy L. (Rick) Hite of Fair Oaks, PA and Donna M. (Matt) Kirsch of Sheffield, as well as many nieces and nephews.  Ann is further survived by her faithful companion, Ruby.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Helen Quist, as well as her previous faithful companions Max, Lightning, and Thunder.

Ann's family will welcome friends on Friday, July 11, 2025, from 2 pm to 4 pm and 6 pm to 8 pm at the Borden Funeral Home, 203 West Main Street in Sheffield, PA.  Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 12, 2025, at 11:00 am at the funeral home with Pastor Ruth Ann Varotto, presiding.  Committal and burial will follow at the Sheffield Cemetery.  A luncheon will be provided by the ladies of the community following the service at the Sheffield United Methodist Church, 11 West Main Street, Sheffield, PA.

The family respectfully requests that memorial donations be made in Ann's memory to Hospice of Warren County, 1 Main Ave, Warren, PA 16365.
